Take time to savor the flavors and make a meal an occasion. Enjoy food traditions from the Bay of Banderas at Daiquiri Dick’s on November 28th at 7:30 when the restaurant features a special Slow Food Feast.
The six-course meal for $450 pesos will feature local fish and seafood, cheeses, vegetables and pork. You will be surprised at the great combinations of really fresh flavors. (Price does not include beverages or gratuity.)
The Slow Food movement focuses on taking a break from fast food in an ever-increasing frenzied lifestyle. Learn to really appreciate the fabulous local fare when it is prepared with love for the cooking art and yet remains a truly neighborhood event. The Slow Food feast at Daiquiri Dick’s emphasizes recreating an interest in what is grown and harvested in the Bay of Banderas. We are supporting the Slow Food movement because it is both a healthier way to eat and we are trying to be conscientious about doing our part in spending less fuel to brink in what's served at your table. Our carbon footprint is on our mind. We are trying to make the people of Puerto Vallarta aware of the movement and will plan more events during the year.
